Bobb -- Smart Buildings

Our building wasn't designed to win environmental awards. It was cold in winter and hot in summer. Bobb's multisensors enabled us to quantify these qualities, revealing huge temperature differentials.

We installed fans and ducting to move cool air to warmer places (or vice versa) and dump hot air outside. Bobb controls the whole thing. Overall temperatures in our working space have reduced by up to ten degrees in summer, and in winter, it is cosier.

It is costly when a machine breaks down. Sensors give valuable telemetry data. Feed this into Bobb, and you can detect rapid changes out of normal ranges, rising or falling averages, and exceeded thresholds.

Add Machine Learning to drive your predictive maintenance schedules. Past data becomes training material, and incoming data feeds Bobb to detect anomalies and patterns.

Raw data is not suitable for Machine Learning. You need context. Bobb can gather both data and context for you, building ML modelling datasets easier than ever before.

Once your model is built, send outcomes straight to Bobb. The Data Engine stores every result and computes statistics. The Rules Engine turns ML recognitions into actions.

People were always leaving grills on. Bobb monitors power consumption, knows when things are switched on, and can turn them off if left on too long or when no presence is detected.

Tell Bobb to set the scene by voice. Bobb will turn the heating up, lighting down, TV and media centre on. If the doorbell rings, Bobb pauses the media, turns up lighting and announces someone is at the door.

At 7am every workday, preheat the building. Maintain 21C when people are present. Never let temperature drop below 10C when empty. Remind people about windows. Turn off AC when windows are open. Set this up in around 20 minutes.

Four lighting modes: normal, mood, minimal and daylight. When someone is in a room, local lighting switches to the current mode. Empty spaces have lighting switched off. Human presence is intelligently sensed.
